1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. The design is also better than the competition. It features an elegant, top piece that appears like toys rather than a loud and obnoxious robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt removal System also self-empties, which can cut down on cleaning time.
In our tests the j7+ performed quick to pick up and remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one location instead of scattering it around the floor. It was able to capture small gravel, sand and even a tiny bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot accomplish this feat. It did all this without getting caught in our pet's hair.
The j7+, although not as intelligent as the Roomba S9 for $1,217+ Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it isn't able to clean the stairs, is still a good option for those who need both mopping and a vacuum. It's not costly and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable as other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates, and sometimes it's hard to determine whether the update actually functioning until you've seen it in the action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean your floors then a hybrid is the best option. These robots come with a tank of water so they can vacuum and mop at the same time. The negative is that they tend to be expensive at retail, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.
Roborock makes some of our favorite robotic vacuums and the Q5+ does not fail to impress. This is the least expensive model of their auto-empty line. While it may not have some of the more expensive features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) but it's a great choice for those who are willing to make a few compromises to save a few dollars.
The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles like wall legs and table legs which makes it a great option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough when it comes to cleaning up dust bunnies, which is a problem which many robot vacuums often be a bit sloppy. The Q5+'s navigation system is excellent, with few misses on walls and corners.
Like other Roborock devices, the Q5+ can be controlled with a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock app. The app lets you start and stop cleaning. You can also set schedules, create virtual barrier and no-go areas or modify your home map or change the room's label.
If you choose the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto emptying dock that is designed to make this robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once it's in place the process of emptying the bin is easy. It also features a large LCD display, which is nice to have when creating schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't necessary for most people but it can help to keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design and function are some of the best on the market however it's expensive.
It is a relatively small base station that looks stunning and is easily hidden when not in use. But the station's biggest selling factor is its ability to automate numerous tasks and functions that most other robots leave up to you. It can store clean and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. Many other robots require this.
Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive, too. It's the only robot vacuum I've tested that does an excellent job of removing debris from bare floors. It's also not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
But relevant website has its flaws, particularly in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robotvacs. This means it could get stuck or get confused in certain corners or rooms in the house. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as competitors, either and doesn't come with an dock that allows you to create an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets that are soft.
Although it doesn't have as much in the way of cleaning options available in its app, or as many in-app shortcuts like other robovacs the Freo X Ultra is still a top choice for those seeking a great all-round robot vacuum and mop that's worth the higher price tag.
If you're looking for a way to save money or don't mind the limitations of the robot, there are many alternatives available. Many of the eufy models cost significantly less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example, is cheaper and has more features, such as the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, which provides a better overall vacuuming experience on floors that are unfinished, low-pile carpets, and even high-pile ones.

Eufy is an Anker company that has a history of producing robot vacuums with the right combination of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpeted floors, as well as a mopping function at a reasonable price. Its smaller size means that it doesn't have to be emptied as frequently, and it has less difficulty with bulky items like cereal.
